Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! I can finally post :jump:
After many years of avoiding it I know have a copy of CFS3.

How many of the AvH effects/weapons files are required to install to get the 3rd party planes to work?

I do note that the effects/weapons now available here do not have readme files, I'm used to CFS2 this program is somewhat different.
 
Consider the AvHistory WepPak and Effects as required and you'll not go wrong. They're the nearest thing CFS3 has to a standard other than the stock ones.

You need:-

  1. The Effects XML
  2. The Effects Textures
  3. The Weapons
all of which are now in the Warbirds CFS3 library. And welcome to the madhouse! :wavey:


I like the handle, probably used for similar reasons to mine! :icon_lol:

To date, the Avhistory Engine Sounds, Weapons and Effects packages, Shared Files, etc have been uploaded previously.

All AvHistory Operation Hangar Clear items were previously uploaded, as well.

This leaves only the remainder of the AvHistory Older Aircraft (V 2.xx).
