Lionheart Pacer Series Released

Twice43

SOH-CM-2025
Lionheart has released the LHC Pacer Series, via the Marketplace, initially in FS2020, & now also available for FS2024, but not as a full blown FS2024 product.
I have flown the Pacer 180 in FS2020 & FS2024 & in both sims, on my PC, the Autopilot is not quite there yet.
In FS2020, the Altitude set knob doesn't work & with the HDG setting, the aircraft seems to want to track at 360 degrees, regardless of where you set it with the HDG knob.
Also it appeared to not pick up the NAV flight path.
FS2024 is slightly better as the Altitude setting knob works, but the other issues mentioned above for FS2020 also occur in FS2024.
The aircraft is quite twitchy on my elevator settings & hand flying was interesting.
I like the vintage character of the aircraft & its wide range of liveries, but hope the AP will be fixed.
Anyone else flying this yet & had better luck with the AP?

I've been hand-flying the Pacers, so no autopilot experience yet, but I'd encourage you to report the errors to Lionheart. Bill's working on an update for the package, so it'd be good to alert him if you've had problems.

Where do I do that?

Bill is very friendly and really wants to know if you are having any problems with his aircraft. He was a regular member here years ago.

Early on the Pasped Skylark had a non-compatible issue with 2024. I put it on the injured reserve list in case it got updated later on. I eventually decided to write Bill about the issue on the chance he didn't know about it. He wrote back almost immediately with a file to fix the Skylark. That was long before the eventual Skylark was updated in the MSMP.

BTW, noticed an update for the package dropped in today's Marketplace refresh. @Twice43, note the HDG function in the AP has been adjusted.

Looks promising. Will try it out later today & report back.
BTW, how do you get updates from the Marketplace? Haven't needed to do that yet.

9/5/25, 8am EST, update not yet in my Marketplace.
I'm guessing Microsoft/Asobo has the update but haven't moved it into the marketplace yet??

I spotted the 1.0.5 upgrade over on FS2020, because you have to manually download updates when you're using that sim. (The screenshot above.)

But in FS2024, it's still the previous version:

Super frustrating, which I think is the actual marketing slogan for FS2024. I'm assuming we'll see the 2024 update next week when it climbs out of the Microsoft quicksand.

Thanks.
I read Market updates 'usually' get released Thursday afternoon PT, sometimes on a Monday too.
I'll see if I can find it in FS2020.

Update is definitely live in 2020! That’s where I grabbed the change log screenshot.
Head scratcher.
I am on a PC & purchased MSFS 2020 via the Marketplace.
In FS2020 Content Manager the LHC Pacer series is sitting there, Installed , version 1.0.3, & shown as "Up To Date"
Are you on Xbox or are there any other factors different to my description - trying to figure out why you can see the Update & I can't?
Thanks

Via the LHC Facebook page, it looks like Bill held back the update release to include some last minute tweaks as he has just sent the update out to his testing team.

Ohhhhh…. I used to test for Bill and I’m guessing my Marketplace account must still be provisioned for prereleases. (I dropped testing Marketplace stuff for a couple devs because Asobo made the interface for downloading them under 2024 so obtrusive.)
