Local Legend 19: The Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor

Tire compression would require different 3D models and then that 3D model would need to potentially move through or under a painted on texture. At one point the good year logo is on the bulge and in the next it isn’t…..I’d say near impossible.
Gear compression was possible and done in FS9 and FSX….so it should be possible in MSFS.
I actually have not paid any attention to it so far, I must admit. Simply look at the struts of an aircraft in flight and then on the ground to see if there is a difference.
It is on this Add-on Plane , both Tire and Absorber as it look´s ~ HB

Suspension or Shock compression is present in the FW200 as well....as I had pointed out earlier.
I don't have that Australian Bush Plane....just had no need for it and the price was too high to just fly it once or twice.
So I can't say for sure, but in your screen shot I do not see the tires bulge where they meet the ground.

The prop disks can easily be adjusted in a paint program like paint.net. Unfortunately there is a kind of look through at the spinners at low rpm as the side views are switched off.

Low rpm/high rpm

Yes , the photo is taken a long time ago so it don´t show that effect so good , but tires bulge more under braking :)

While flying I noticed a bug with the aileron and rudder trim tabs. They are completely to one side even when centered in the cockpit.

Hi Jankees,

Just to be sure, you used two shades (light/dark) of green for the fuselage and for the wings: brown and dark green?

Know you're colourblind, still amazed how you repaint with that :)

Marcel
Did I? Really? Ow shucks, 200 downloads and nobody tells me, I'll see what I can do (tomorrow), thanks for letting me know.
Both wings?
and just to make sure, the dark green is the same everywhere?

Dark green looks the same everywhere. The brown is replaced by light green on the fuselage.

Don't know Luftwaffe schemes, so assumed it was intentional. :)

Much better but also the complete tail needs to be changed. It is still brown/green. The RL65 looks stunning!

Are you going for two shades of green, Jankees, or brown and green? The tail is brown/green, the wings and fuselage are now consistent, but dark/lighter green. Bottom color looks good!

RLM 72 and RLM 73 are both green, so off to adjusting the tail...

still can't see the difference though...

OK, an update has been posted on fs.2, if there are still mistakes like this, please let me know?

Hallo Joe,
as I have only the good old FS2004 on my old pc, this plane is not usuable for me.
BUT it would interest me two things can it be known which ressources the authors had to make the model?
Also would it be possible to get some screenshots from the cockpit (especially from the pilots view and from the copilots view.
Also how did they realize the Radiostation?
It would be interesting to see the differencies to Hauke Keitels Fw200 from old FS2002 times
Best Regards
Michael Vader
