I bought it in FS2020 and it is really nice, especially in VR. Then, I launched FS2024 and found it was a free upgrade. Not sure if that's because I purchased the 2020 version, or if it is free in 2024 regardless.
However, while the modeled pilot figure is correct scale in 2020, the selectable avatar in 2024 looks about half size. And, the FS2020 version says Microsoft/Aeroplane Heaven, while the 2024 states Microsoft/inibuilds. Strange.

Weirdly, the first time I flew it in 2024, I had the modeled pilot figure. Got to figure out how to get him back.
I'm guessing Aeroplane Heaven did the FS2020 version and iniBuilds s̸c̸r̸e̸w̸e̸d̸ u̸p̸ did the FS2024 version.

I mentioned over in the 2024 topic for this that the 2020 version seems to work fine in 2024. So I disabled the 2024 version and enabled AH's superior 2020 version and now I have the cool WW2 Aussie pilot in my Boomerang. And a canopy I can open without exiting the plane.

That is fantastic, I loved AH's version in FS9, had a great soundset for the period & it really did capture the Boomerang's flight characteristics.
