Boomerang is out, and on a quick flight seems really nice. Can't figure out why I had a nice, period Aussie WW2 pilot the first time I flew it, and a four-foot-five modern pilot after that. Hopefully it's a cockpit toggle I haven't located yet.







Also, FS2024 upgrade (and serious upgrade, it's pretty much a rebuild from the original OrbX mess) for the Fokker F.VII is out, and if you didn't buy it originally, you can get it free for the next week, so grab it now!

Never could get the "period" pilot back in the FS2024 version, but by disabling the 2024 version and enabling the 2020 version in My Library, I not only got the full-sized pilot back, I can also open the canopy without exiting the plane.

What I don't understand is why I had the period pilot the very first time I flew the 2024 version. I tried zeroing out the pilot weight, looking for something in the cockpit to click, etc, to get him back and no dice. So reverting to the 2020 plane in 2024 was the solution.

Yeah we developed the Boomerang for MS for 2020. Inibuilds took over for the 2024 version. So I cannot say why you are experiencing the pilot issue.
