Long loading times

Well, I am trying to like FS2024, but it keeps fighting me... Thank goodness for FS2020 still being on my system.

For two days I am getting a message saying the loading times are excessive. Or, when trying to load into an airport it sits there for ten minutes thinking about it before I Ctrl+Alt+Del and shut the thing down in Task Manager.

If this is a server issue, then many of you might be seeing this. If you are not, then I guess it's a mystery.

UPDATE:- I emptied the community folder by de-activating files in Addonlinker. It seems to be working again. I can only surmise that some files were fine in V5, but not in 5.1 Will keep this post here to update and educate others who may have this issue.

This was happening to me last week, after I hit "Fly Now" the UI went away and I was just hovering on the world map for like a minute and I think one time I had to end task on MSFS.

I have also seen the message you speak of but only once and that was a few weeks ago, nothing since only the stuck in hover a handful of times. However for the past few days it seems to have went away. I think its a network issue with the game not being synced maybe with the add on folders or something similar.

For now all seems good for me. Glad to see you figured it out I figured it was something to do with add ons.
