Looking for a couple of aircraft.

Just wondering if someone may be able to help.

Years ago I had FS2004 installed and I had a very nice single seat home-built aircraft by Tim Conrad installed. The aircraft concerned is the Evans VP-1. I have searched all over the Internet and have found one site that has it mentioned but the link to download is dead.

Has there ever been an Aeronca Tri-Traveler made for FS2004? Did a bit of searching and apparently the creator of the LilSki/Long Island Classics Aeronca did create one but it was a beta version. There is a couple of repaints in the library here for a Tri-Traveler.

Hi Mick,

Many thanks for sharing the Evans VP-1. Have been doing a few flights with it today.

Looks like I am missing a couple of gauges for the VP-1 though. Have checked the panel folder for the VP-1 and there isn't any gauge files located there.

Have done bit of a search in the panel.cfg and looks like I am missing the following.

gauge07=vp1_fuel!vp1_fuel,
gauge09=vp1_ecu!vp1_ecu,
gauge04=fi156_fuel_left!fi156_fuel_left,

Here they are. I don't know why they weren't included in the original download. I've never flown the plane so I never noticed them being missing.

I found the two vp1 gauges in my main Gauges folder so I don't know where I got them or why I have them when they're not in the download. The fi56 gauge came from Piglet's Storch.

I'm having a blast with the 7FC. :geek:

All the things I like from LIC. Kick the tires, close the door, hit the mags, and take off.
Pretty much ready to go right out of the box. :wiggle:
The only things I wrenched on were the prop animation ratio*, a stall horn effect (a buzzer would also work well), and the door open and door close sounds borrowed from the default Cub.

Long term, I have some ball caps and head phones added to the other LIC birds that might get used.

*- just add the middle line to each fltsim.# entry. This reduces the "strobing" of the blurred prop.
