Luftwaffe 1940's

JU-88C-1,G or R anyone?

Actually, for an 8 year old CFS2 port over, this is not bad at all, looks pretty smart actually. the vc is basic, maybe a way to sharpen the gauges and could use a new prop disk but is still fun to fly.

Awesome looking model and pic, Ian.:applause:
I can almost hear the '801's power too. Remarkable machine indeed.

Talking of '801's I'd love to see a well-built JU-88C-1,G or R, with a pair of those superb engines.

Thanks for the HU, QdB. :icon29:
I'll have to look into it.

The '88 was a remarkable piece of machinery - a very capable aircraft indeed!

Got interested in following this thread and looked into the skins for the AH Bf109E. Downloaded a few and installed them into the CFS2 AH -109E on my machine. On starting FS9, I experience a CTD when calling up the JG-27 Balkans skin (file name JG27Balkan.zip). I tried re-downloading the file and reinstalling but got the same result - aircraft appears a blank white for a split second then the CTD follows. Scanned the downloaded file with proprietary MS anti-virus software, also MalWareBites and both scans came back negative. Opened the downloaded file and discovered the file me109e_1_d.bmp within JG27Balkan.zip appears to be damaged - parts of the textures are blacked out somehow. Tried to attach it to this email for review, hope I did it right. Thought everyone should know.

Later - checked the rest of the file after comparing it to textures that DO work - turns out files me109e_1_d.bmp and me109e_d.bmp are identical, "e_d" should have the damage shown to the components, however, the paint should be on the components and it's not.

I won't bother posting the other texture, it looks just like this one when it shouldn't. You may want to avoid this one altogether.
