Major frustrations.... No Sound

So... Monday afternoon, I was surfing the web and pow... Power goes out. Problem was my system was waiting for a reboot to update windows. Power came back after 30 seconds or so but I waited a couple of minutes to see if it would go back out which it didn't. So I hit the power button and the computer rebooted and began to update windows... And the power went off again about a minute later. Damn... Well 3 hours later when the power came back on. (A line came off the pole at the end of my street) I rebooted again and it said the update failed (Like I expected it to) and I reinstalled the update.

And now I have no sound... sorta. I get the message "No Audio Device Is Installed" But occasionally my speakers will spit a 1/4 a second of sound randomly when I load a program.

I've reloaded drivers, run repair programs, rebooted a dozen times and still no joy. And oh yeah, FS 2020 crashes to desktop after I load the world map every time so I can't even run developer mode to play with any scenery for something to do. I ordered a USB audio card and that came in and did NADA. Short of trying to find a local repair shop, any ideas?

Look´s that your PC was hurt by power off/on .... you might just need a new GPU , if it happens often i suggest you get a power UPS unit too.

Can you revert to a recovery time and date before the power outages? I had something like this happen once and rolling back was the only thing that fixed this kind of issue.

In device manager it shows all hardware working properly but windows says no audio device is installed. I can't roll back the update (it won't let me)

I would do a complete clean reinstall of the machine. If things still don't work after that, some hardware was hit by the power cut.
