Looks like TF answered most of the questions. I chose a civilian paint for the initial screens and vid...it just looked too good to pass up.
The model I am working with only has cargo interior. I don't know what Manfred has planned. I think this is still just a beta cockpit, but it is a very fine one to fly right now. I haven't done any texture work inside until I know what cockpit we will be working with.
The new paint kit will be PSD layered with separate layers of master rivets, panels, exterior "skin" i.e. aluminum, wear and grease, four layers of rivets including blurs and highlights, bump layers and alpha. The format will be 4096 x 2048, full length. I've enhanced the bumps for an aged skin as well. Check
IGA Catalogue and
ALDI Catalogue. There will be two bump sets, one relatively clean and average, the second more tired and aged with stress and damage.
Here are a few of the most current screens, I'm still tweaking this paint, but you will get the general idea. It definitely doesn't suck for a freebie...lol.
The blank skin shown here is early prelim without much wear or age. The kit will have a few variants i.e. military service finish, dull aluminum and polished. The kit will have the tools to take it anywhere you want.
