Meet the Fokkers!

Here’s what I’ve been doing the past month(s). ‘Meet the Fokkers’!
There is the Fokker D.XIV, which never went in production because it was considered to experimental. After the test pilot crashed and was killed, the development of this plane was terminated. Imagine this plane in 1925! 590 hp!

Then there is the Fokker S.IV, the most important Dutch trainer of the twenties and thirties. Lovely plane and man, I love that blue!

Finally there’s the Fokker D.XVI. With a fourteen cylinder and 460 hp motor this baby was a nice plane to fly.
I learned to work with FSDS making these planes. I still have a lot to learn. I had a great time making these planes. There are plenty of great moments still ahead. Do I want to share these with you? Off course I do, but only after I’m satisfied with the end result. Knowing that these projects are never finished, I will release beta versions first.
A tribute to Anthony Fokker, the Fokker Dutch Heritage Collection. This will be an ongoing project.
Anyone who has the idea that he can contribute to this project, please contact me!

Remember the low wing experimental monoplane they used near the end of "The Blue Max" to kill off George Peppard? It looked a lot like the D.XIV, I wonder if thats where the writers got the idea from?

Terry mentions the aircraft that crashes at the end of "The Blue Max". It's one of my favorite aviation movies with great flying and stunt work. The aircraft is a 1931 Morane Saulnier 230. Here is a pic of that same aircraft.View attachment 44856

You've done one Fokkin good job on those Fokkers. I look forward to flying the Fokk out of them and crashing them all over the Fokkin place.

Yep, Cees is doing excellent work! He was kind enough to send me the D.XVI and the S.IV and although I barely had time to fly them, first impressions are great! :applause:
