Metars...not downloading

OBIO

Retired SOH Admin
For some reason, FSMetars is not downloading any metars.....I have tried in 3 installs of FS9 and CFS2...using 2 different versions of FSUICP or whatever it's called.....have tried all three Metar sites....nothing from anyone of them. Anyone else using FSMetars have this problem?

Same here....it was working fine last time I used it...which was last week sometime I think.

I tried using it for the first time a few months ago. The only one that worked was Vatsim. The other two failed every time.

Now tried it again and NOAA is working but VATSIM and the IVAO server both fail.

Back then I looked at the INI file to see where it was down loading from.

I found the IVAO link was broken. It yields a page not found.

Right now the VATSIM link also is broken but it appears VATSIM.net is also down. They must be having server issues.

The NOAA link seems to be working OK now.

***EDIT

Scratch that NOAA looks like it loaded but it never down loaded anything.

Ok - the NOAA server is hit or miss. It worked once, then it downloaded, but said it failed, then it worked again.

Well this is a relief. Thought I'd gone and mucked up something after the help you folks gave me in setting Metars up. Guess I'll just wait for things to work again.
