Microsim T-37 textures in FSX

o think this is the 37 most of us remember from real life. beefier than its civilian sibling it sported more powerful engines and a minigun in the nose.. i love this plane..

Yep, the Squadron I was assigned to at Binh Thuy AB received some of the first to arrive in-country. The VNAF Pilots really took to that little airplane. It was perfect for them both in size and firepower. . .easily maneuverable, relatively simple systems management. . .the "Dragonfly" was an appropriate moniker. With the beefed up hardpoints for bombs and rockets, the 7.62 minigun and refueling boom, it was a formidable foe over the jungles and rice paddies of South Vietnam. The VC would take great pains to try to knock out as many as possible with recoilless Rifle fire at night. They never hit the Dragonfly's, but on occasion were lucky enough to hit a few A-1's and a Huey. . .the little turds, lol

heh..my experience with the VC led me to believe that if your base was putting enough money into the economy, they would go to some pains to follow orders, but purposely miss. almost every mortar attack we went through, the mortars would land in the middle of an empty field about 500 feet away from my barracks.. Not even close. but But A-1s were navy, and hueys brought big bad assed guys more than happy to kill them.. :::lol::.. Oh well..
