From what I'v asked at places like Best Buy the sell of PC pilot goods are on the decline.
So for people like us that still enjoy flight sim's things are getting cheaper to get....

it could be that's why there are so many sticks at Goodwill.
i have actually found brand new, still in the box,
maybe taken out once.
people just aren't into it.
as i see it, this hobby takes a lot of time and energy
and the learning curve
can be a little difficult.
it's definitely not for instant gratification.
I bought this at Best Buy last week when I bought a new PC with Windows 7.
Works perfect with FSX & CFS3 and I love all the buttons.
I had the Logitech Wingman for years and wished for more buttons.

...this is the one i replaced my MS stick with.
it's not as beefy as the MS and no FF,
but, 12 buttons!! how cool is that?
Is there a way to mount the joystick to the table?

i would have to ask about your table?
what kind of trouble are you going to get into
if you poke holes into it,
or attach velcro to it?
personally, i find that table or desk
height is way to high for me.
i prefer my controller just above my thighs,
with the throttle quadrant just to my right,
radio and auto-pilot to my right.
it's basically, an A-20 layout.
so, i attached a 1 1/2" x 12'x 2' extension to my "table top",
which is a piece of 3/4 plywood.
the extension lowers the surface
by 1 1/2"+3/4"=2 1/2" at the bottom.
(one keyboard sits on this at about a 30* angle)
to the extension bottom,
i through bolted a small piece of 1/2" plywood
that can swivel out toward me,
it provides a lower base for my stick.
the stick can be set aside,
so i can swivel the base out of the way when i need to get up.
also, the leading edge of the 1 1/2" extension
keeps the stick from sliding forward.
i guess i should point out that my table top is only 23" high
and that my seat is out of my old dead gmc safari van.
i look straight at a 48" TV/monitor,
with a 19" CRT extension, just off to the upper right.
under that CRT is another 19"CRT,
which is a monitor for the "communications" computer.
someday, maybe LCDs when these die and prices go down.
wife thinks i'm nuts,
which i am....
but it's better than sitting on the sofa,
watching tv and slopping down beers.
dang....there i go again...sorry.
if you don't want to damage your desk/table top,
by drilling holes, putting in screws, or gluing down velcro,
i just had a thought,
my wife got some cool stuff for kitchen drawer and shelf liners.
it's a coated mesh, comes in rolls, can be cut and is non slip.
she even uses the stuff when she transports cakes.
it keeps them from slipping and sliding.
cool stuff.
i'll see if i can find out what it's called,
if you are interested.
