Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

hey all, when i order 2024 on the microsoft store website, it redirects me around, which is fine, but then i go to click on the "go to cart" and a box pops up wanting me to sign into microsoft, thats all it says, but there is a text box to put my user name/email,phone number in to, i know all those,i can sign in on my other two PCs just fine, but on my dedicated FS machine, i try to click the box to put my text curser in the box, it shows momentarily then goes away.i cant seem to find anywhere it get help from microsoft store or just them. any one have a suggestion?

Aaaah yes, it's a super annoying bug, where the login window acts as if your DOWN arrow key was always pressed. I hate that bug from the bottom of my heart, and so far I haven't found a solution for it :(
Basically, the only way I could log it was to try to be faster than the machine :D I don't remember if I was clicking the text box then immediately one letter of my email address, one letter at a time, or if I kept pressing the UP arrow key to counter the cursor will to go down, but there is a way...

well, ok. I'll try those ideas and see what happens. so its on their end? or i was going to say, my pc, but if yours did it to you as well. im not fast enough.

It's not just your PC, indeed. It happens on mine too, and I've seen quite a few discussions on various forums/reddit etc... which mentioned the issue as well.
I just have no idea about the cause...

The other workaround would be ordering 2024 through Steam. Just a thought.

The same issue would occur, since the Steam version (which I own) also asks to login to your Xbox Live account ;)
