A member request that will take some time. A lot of hangars and buildings and very little reference material. If anyone knows where I can find actual images from ground level, I would appreciate it.

In setting up the AFCAD I noticed that the default airports runway was actually 1300' shorter than it should be. Something I normally don't run into to, but it's been corrected.

The runway was extended two summers ago. All the added length was on the north end to allow some jet traffic there.

I live about 3 miles off the end of runway 1 so I'll grab some photos as soon as I can this week. I'll be working south tomorrow but should be back working the Middlebury area Wednesday.

One of the cooler aircraft based at Middlebury is a Fouga Magister in a Patrouille de France paint scheme.

Yea I thought that's what I was seeing on the aerial photos. I can probably come up with something for that I imagine. As for the photos, that would be great. . .as many as you can get. I still have work to do on the ramp and runway markings as well as placing the autogen so plenty of time.

Got some rather crappy photos with my cell this afternoon. Weather is practically IFR minimums to even drive so they are slightly hazy. currently syncing them from my phone to the pc. as soon as I get them uploaded I'll get something posted.

Not my shot but stolen from my buddy Bill Hamph's facebook page. Bill owns Green Mtn. Avionics and shows the ramp in front of his hangar. these are the the three furthest south hangars

I was a bit rushed so I inadvertently skipped the parking lot at J&M Aviation services This is the back of the "BIG" hangar which is the paint shop. Large enough to paint a PA-42 Cheyenne no problem.

Next few shots are the aircraft junkyard/parts supply and the next hangar.

Looking a little more to the left. Since the new runway expansion the airport has all new fencing and much tighter access to airside.

Great, Thanks Brian. A shame you can't get flightline access, fronts would be ideal but I appreciate anything you're able to get.

photo dump time... more shots for Ed. Weather was a bit nicer today.

Brian, my thanks for taking the time to get these pics. Far more than I had to begin with and so now begins the job of putting up walls, doors, windows and bringing the airport to life. Thank you Sir!

You Have Enough Info Now I Think

Wow, what an interesting bunch of photos. A lot of cool aircraft there AND a lot of junkers too. Waiting for restoration or what!

Holy Crudbuckets..... WOW! Looks awesome.

On green Mtn Avionics, this is a close up of the man door next to the small overhead door next to the hangar door. Bill is a former Marine, hence the marine parking sign.
