I think someone else hit the nail on the head. It may be incompatibility with acceleration or something. Some switches don't move for me, and I can't get the motor to turn. We're out of luck on this one.

I think someone else hit the nail on the head. It may be incompatibility with acceleration or something. Some switches don't move for me, and I can't get the motor to turn. We're out of luck on this one.
Oh well, the price was right!
And I just downloaded the Razbam A-6 Intruder for 50% off, so I don't feel so bad. Jim

Steady on, tiggy, I'm in Accel and got it started. See my earlier post on waiting. It's confusing. It's different.

Same here, I got it started on my first try in FSX Accel. No issues at all.

Theres nothing wrong with the VC or aircraft were just following the wrong start up procedure for acceleration users I think, try this
look here....
Try following this instead theres only one difference, Switch 9 comes before the starter button labeled under 11.
Look just try it!
1. Press 1 so that the panel comes up.
2. Press 2 and 3.
3. Press all of the switches on the top row on the right side under label 4.
4. Press 5 and then 6 (there above the red circle 6 should be in the opposite position to the one in the pic).
5. Press 7 and then 8 (Pressing them will flip them all up).
6. Click on switch 10 (just that one switch) so that it points down
7. Click on switch 9 so that it points up the aircraft at this point should be ready to start.
8. Click on switch 11 to uncover the grey circular ignition button (This is the starter button saftey cover you must open).
9. Only then pressing in the grey starter button, will the aircraft start the grey ignition button shoutld stay in though.
10. Watch the RPM gauge marked 12 and as N1 and N2 pointer needles start to move, you should hear the engine starting at this point,
11. Click on switch 13 again, to get rid of the Soviet Ural starter truck!
12. Last but not least Click switch 1 again it's also labeled 14 to get rid of those the switches under the HUD!
11. Do what the hell you like then you should be flying lol! This is a really fun addon, nothing really major to complain about,
who ever made this did it really well and its just like everyting else in fsx it gives us more fun working problems out together from all over the world!
12. Brake chute is the yellow switch on the left of the panel just click and it should open!
However though I still for some reason can't get the chocks, ladder and maintanance trolley to appear!
Look here first flight 9G's, I'd drank 8 cans in typical Russian style, no problem here NOT as you can tell I rapped her about 3 seconds later haha!
One or two problems here, seriously though I've got that old throttle sticking problem with her if you hit F4 and then try to decrease using F2 you'll see what I mean!
I also seem to have 3 lights perminantely attached to all 3 undercarage oleo's with no way to turn em off! Any of you guys had any of these problems?
Cant wait for your repaints Yago mate, that Finnish one looks amaising, how do you do it so fast, photoreal too!!!
I'm had to dig out that old Captainsim Mig21UM (Mongol) we'll have to get a video or photo session of these two together, this one and the CS UM model!

Black untextured parts
I see a black (not red) ladder,wheel chocks, engine stand - and a black (not green) lowest panel on the outboard main gear covers. This is not what I see in Yago's Finnish screen-shot. Anyone else see what I do? I'm using FSX SP1.

Its because your using sp1 probably, I recommend Fsx Acceleration or the SP2 update there the best versions to have, then u get to add sceneries like this, which the name of I can't even pronounce or even type hardly !!
I'll try though its..Chkalovsk AB, a fictional Russian airbase available at flightsim.com along with a landclass improvement for the area, and one other base, named you ready! UHPP - Petropavlovsk, lol, try em there quite good!!
Sure beats the default scenery, until we find those gorgeous hangers we all despirately want from the early shots!
Just need the throttle fixed and I'm laughing!!

The button should depress inward and stay there, when you click it, honestly follow my modified startup, if your using Acceleration! As this was only tested in Acceleration, not Fsx Rtm, Sp1 or Sp2

I'm on acceleration and I've had no problem getting it started up.
Wings of Gold, I think the color difference you see is because the different paint scheme have different colored accessories - the VC, the inside of the gear panels, and probably the ladders and accessories too.
The only complaint I have is the old port-over throttle sticking issue. I thought I had notes on how to fix that, but I guess I deleted my notes. I don't recall it being that hard to fix though - just where to find the instructions...
Another side complaint, but not really so much a problem with the add-on - probably a complaint about the real plane as well. I burn up the fuel in about 10 minutes of flight time unless I am really conservative with the throttle. I had to turn unlimited fuel on just to get a good 30 minutes orientation flight under my belt.
It does take a good amount of trim to get the plane to rotate on take-off. I was struggling to get off the ground during the first flight, but after that I just learned to crank up the trim and then trim it back down once I was airborne.
It's very nice. I like it. I wouldn't have felt cheated if I had paid $25 for it. For free it's beyond great.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Dooooooood; you just made my day!! This is my scenery!!! I don't advertise here, because I'm just a freeware guy. Up until this point I've had nothing but the download count to personify their use. I am so happy right now. I feel pretty cool knowing that someone used something I made to better their simming experience over the default.
The scenery's nothing too special, but I just wanted to give that base some Russian life.

I had no idea that they were your sceneries, I really enjoy them, there very interesting with much to see and great frame rates! Many thanks for those great scenery addons mate!

Peter, #9 and #10 are necessary, as they go along with the motor and ejection systems (it works), but moving the switch above #5 does nothing, since #5 makes the nose cone move automatically.
If you prefer to use autostart function you simply have to deactivate the corresponding gauge in the panel.cfg

Anyone got any idea as to the throttle problem fix, I can usually fix this by addin certain lines to the turbine engine data section in the aircraft.cfg but i'm having no luck with it!
