ooooo Jan, I'm gonna need that paint.
Any chace we gan get one sans markings with a small reg code on the tail?
(dunno if you take requests but that paint is so clean...)

I am curious if anyone knows what unit the Air National Guard aircraft that comes as default. It is the one that does not have a state ID but has a very large Air National Guard patch on the fuselage.

I think it's an aircraft from the 180th TFG, 112th TFS of the Ohio ANG (that's how I have amended the line "ui_variation" after a search on the Internet for serial number "62-942").

Uploaded and in the library now. 48th TFW

This is fantastic!!! Awesome paint. The MV F100 is turning into my favorite aircraft to fly. Quick note, this. I think, is in the wrong library - it's in "FS2004 - Vietnam", and should be in FSX - Vietnam", no?

Nice one Jankees, pity there are no detailed pictures of the wings on top and bottom, so keeping them clean is a good choice :encouragement:

One slight issue though , the registration appears too large as does the darkblue cheatline at the rear with the registration.... but that's just my opinion.

Cheers,
Hank

Just been through this walkaround of 'Triple Zilch' at Wethersfield in 1960. Interesting in that it's the first walkaround I've seen of anything in service. Also depressing - the wealth of stencilling I've missed doesn't bear thinking about....:banghead:!!

PS - the 20th paint is done and ready to be packaged soon as.

17:15 GMT - Done!

Just posted an update to correct the right side stencils and add red and white bands to the pitot tube. Thanks to DaveB for pointing out my lack of proofing skills....:dizzy:

If the "F" model this was done from is the only one still flying, then it was based at my local airport for many years. I remember going out there when I saw it in the pattern and it was kept in the same hangar I eventually worked in after I retired from the Military. Last thing I heard was that it had been sold to a Guard Unit up North somewhere and that was probably 20 years ago. It was a beauty too.

The blue cheat line is noticeably thinner on the real thing. A nice looking scheme.. simple but effective:encouragement:
EDIT: Just read Hank's post!! It's not just me then;)
