Stunning work Allen. Now the G4M1 lives up to her code name "Betty."
Worthless,
To calibrate your bomb sight, you can add the following to your CFS 2 cfg file:
[CHEATS]
bomb_trainer=1 <<<--- This will give you cross hairs on the ground where your bombs will hit.
free_warp=0
ALLOW_SLEW=0
damagemsgs=0
show_damage_log=0
;Active = 1
;Inactive = 2
The bomb trainer will give you a multi-colord X or cross hair on the ground where your bombs will strike.
For dive bombing level bombers, make sure that the DP file reflects the following for level bombers:
Unit_Family:
1 - Fighter (default)
2 - Bomber <<<--- Level bomber
3 - Ground vehicle
4 - Static object
5 - Ship or boat
7 - carrier
Category:
1 - aircraft fighter
2 - aircraft level bomber (B-24, He-111) <<<<---- Level bomber
3 - aircraft dive bomber (Stuka, Dauntless, Val)
4 - aircraft torpedo bomber (Avenger, TBF)
5 - aircraft tactical bomber (A-20, Ju-88)
6 - aircraft strike (Fw-190F2, A-4; 2-engine nightfighters?)
7 - aircraft civil
8 - aircraft recon (Storch)
9 - aircraft transport (C-47)
10 - aircraft fighter-bomber (any fighter equipped with bombs) or Dive Bombers
Example as it should be in the DP file for the Betty (B-26, B-17, B-24, He 111, SM 81, Etc.)
[MISC_DATA]

If you are making missions, the MB will often save a level bomber's unit family as a "1." After closing the MB, you need to open the .mis file for the mission and edit the Betty's unit family back to a "2" before the mission will fly properly if the bombers are intercepted. Otherwise they will act like fighters.
Looks like this in the .mis file:
[unit_type.3]
type_id=3842
unit_family=2 <<<---Ensure this is a "2" for level bombers
name=G4M_Betty
