I haven't. I happy with The OH G4M2 Betty however if The B-24 Guy wants I can sen him my cockpit interior.
 
I forgot I had this Betty,its by SG and it's a G4M1_11 Betty.I got it about 10 years ago I think.

The SG Betty is a nice model but a tad heavy on FRs on my PC despite being multi-lod. A.F. Scrub ran it thru Gmax for FS2004 & that version converted to CFS2 seems to be a tad better in that regard. I may try a comparison with Allen's bird in the next little while.

Well, I did a frame rate check & basically, the SG & Allen's bettys are about sixes at a distance but the FRs on SGs birds drop to about half of Allen's betty closer in while Allen's remains about the same (about 77 for a group of 8 on my rig.)

Oldwheat.The pics are of the first Betty SG did.It isn't even on his site anymore that I know of.I use his newer version.

Max,I don't thing you can get that version of the Betty anymore and the textures don't work on the newer version that SG did a few years back.

I tried to keep the FR good however they are likely going to take a hit with all the things I've added.

Hey Max.He's doing the best he can.He redid the engines for you and now you want them different. I'd like to see you do what Allen is doing.
Show a little respect for what people create and stop finding faults in everything.Alot of the people that have created things have left because of people complaining about what they have tried to do.

It's not a perfect world and CFS2 is not a perfect sim.So the planes,ships and scenery will not always be perfect.

Allen keep up the good work.It's very appreciated by the community.

Hi Allen

Thanks for this project. It's a big improvement over the stock G4M2 Betty and it's the appropriate version for 1941 though early 1944.

For those of the CFS2 community who have downloaded my 9th Fighter Squadron in WWII campaign, I recommend you replace the stock Betty I used (to limit downloads necessary and keeps FPS up) with Allen's G4M1 model. It will provide the correct Betty version.

I have every thing done I think. I fixed the bulged bomb bay and nose. However all the work has added around 850 polys for a total of 7620.

No One is Immune - We've ALL had to fight the urge to nit-pick. :pop4:

Once the first Beat-Down is over, we only need an occasional reminder that CFS2 is NOT FSX, and planes here are meant to be destroyed, NOT look purty... For the most part.

Now someone has to come up with a few new skins. If no one else is up to the task, I'll do some (that's a warning :mixedsmi:).
BTW: The FRs are still top notch even with the added polys. Ain't multi-res wonderful?
 
Downloaded, tested and appreciated!! if you want i can make a pack of skins after i have finished and didtributed Berlin scenery...
