THE VOODOO! I have been eye-balling the Voodoo for years! Now I can add it to my vintage jets collection. It feels like my birthday!

OBIO

Shockwave light set for the Trojan(all variants):

light.0 = 1, -11.60, 0, 2.34, fx_shockwave_beacon
light.1 = 2, 0.18, 19.70, 0.75, fx_shockwave_strobe
light.2 = 2, 0.18, -19.70, 0.75, fx_shockwave_strobe_2
light.3 = 3, 0.66, 19.60, 0.78, fx_shockwave_navgre
light.4 = 3, 0.66, -19.60, 0.78, fx_shockwave_navred
light.5 = 4, 1.68, 0, 2.98, fx_vclight
\\light.6 = 4, -2.84, 0, 2.66, fx_vclight ; rear cockpit light <<delete // for 2 pilots

light.7 = 5, 2.20, 14.50, -0.5, fx_Shockwave_landing_light
light.8 = 5, 2.20, -14.50, -0.5, fx_Shockwave_landing_light

Remember to add this to the bottom of the panel.cfg [Vcockpit01] section.

gauge30=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1
gauge31=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_taxi_gear, 1,1,1,1

Will install the voodoo after some food.

For the record the FSX version appears to have more entries in the [Vcockpit01] section so use these values in FSX instead.

gauge36=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1
gauge37=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_taxi_gear, 1,1,1,1

OBIO

lol, Didn't you know Smoothie and I are WIP on your Alphasim present (icon:Shining Silver HAF Alphasim Swordfish with matching sounds:icon) there are even a few drinks to go with it!

...off to get the Trojan...wrong way, idiot! :tgun2::running:

The little T28 is really a nice flyer. I am using OBIO's "Duck" sounds for it and it sounds superb. Not real sure about the accuracy of the sounds for that plane, but it sounds perfect to me.

Shane Strong did some excellent repaints for the two seat Canadian version of the Voodoo. They can be found over at Flightsim.com; file names regularv.zip and specialv.zip.

Thanks to everyone at Virtavia for the great Easter gift!

I think that I saw all of the Century series of fighters fly with the exception of the Voodoo. Now at least I'll be able to see her in the cyber skies of my computer.

Any of you remember the two Voodoos that overflew the Russian sub in the comedy movie "The Russians Are Comming?" I always thought that that was great footage.

Aaron Swindle did a nice sound set for the T-28 (Wright Cyclone?) that I used with Tim Conrad's version of the bird and am now using it with the Alphasim version. It captures the "clatter" of the 28's prop at takeoff very nicely. Unfortunately I don't see it listed at FlightSim or AvSim any more.

One of my favourite films! "Egermency! Everybody to get from street!"

Wish I could find a good recording and a set of the Russian lyrics to the song played when they make their first landing on the beach; always liked that tune.

'T28snz.zip' at Flightsim.com, and Jan Visser (Javis) of Maam-sim fame did a small update which is in the SOH library:

[SIZE=-1] FS2002/FS2004/CFS2 North American T-28 Sound Set. Works very well with the recently released T-28 series aircraft. Not tested in CFS3 but should work fine. Aircraft builders may package this soundset with their project. By Aaron R. Swindle Skysong Soundworks.
