More Meteors from Rob Richardson!

Looking good Peter!

Thanks to Rob and the painters, the Meteor must soon be one of the best covered aircraft types in FSX... Not many marks left now..

JensOle,
That Dayglo NF14 looks superb. I have fought shy of doing the Dayglo strip Meteors because of the difficulties of getting the engines strips right - on the NF14 the engines are textured from above and on the F8 they are textured from the side - either way there is distortion at the top or bottom of the nacelle! You however have managed to do quite a good job on the NF14 - well done.

Thanks! Yes the texture distortion is very semanding for this scheme, both on the nacelles and fort he rear fuselage stripes when the meet the upper/ under side. So some compromises had to be done to minimize the visible distortion issues, bu all in all a nice scheme i believe.

Speechless! Were you not thinking about the SeaMeaty yesterday? Lovely work; Rob, thank you very much. I want very much to go fly now, but I'm on a modeling binge and don't want to stop while the inertia is up.

... I Think i'm going to make my own paintkit at 4096*4096... looks ok but i've noticed a few wrongly laid panels, though rest assured when it's done i'll share the paintkit... (and yes... this was FMK - Q before it got the all over silver...)
