My Bag Is Packed

I am awake, every now and again it is a little hard to tell, but I am still alive [STRIKE]and well[/STRIKE] :dizzy:

Glad to hear that you came through the surgery ok. You are awake, you are alive, and you are... well 2 out of 3 ain't bad!

oddly enough I was told drink coke or coffee, hummm the caffeine is now good for the healing heart as long as I do not go overboard. This is from my Heart Dr. Today.

It's good to see your posting again Ickie and glad to have you back.

Your headache is from the guy that pushes your hospital bed dolly around. They usually give it a last push into a pole or wall upon arrival to your room or operating area. Head first of course.
Most are recruited from grocery store parking lots ya know. :playful:

today I am having a real heavy chest over my heart, they told me this would happen as I heal.
I also have an awful backache other side, hurts too much to lay down.

Sometimes the healing hurts worse than the condition, but the end result should be well worth the discomfort. Heal quickly Ron. Hope they gave you some good painkillers to ease you through.

Glad its returned to normal, must be a bit of a worry though when it does go 'off line'
Good luck & hope you will be 100% very soon.
Keith

I am now feeling much better than earlier today, I kinda knew something wasn't right when I woke at 5 am and my blood pressure was kinda high for no reason.

note I am black and blue all over, lol
they had 2 probes in each groin 4 total in that area
1 in each top of hands, 2 total
1 in my wrist
1 in the crock of my arm
not to mention a probe down my throat
and a 3/8" pipe in the (outch that hurts)

also it has been raining since I left to Tampa on Wen morning and is still storming outside.

Sounds like you're on the mend, Ickie. When they give you that dope in the hospital to numb you up for operations, it leads to all sort of interesting feelings once you're on the mend. It takes a while to get it out of your system and it's going to cause aches and pains while it's being flushed. That caffeine causes your blood vessels to dilate, I think, so maybe that's to help increase blood flow for you a little. It's also a diuretic.

Everything's like you left it here, we've been waiting for you to get back and, as has been said, nothing's been broken in the interim. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

My prayers are with you. It's amazing what doctors can do today . The worst part is over and now i pray for a speedy recovery. Take care... from Scott
