Spotted circling over the Flight Replicas testing airport today....

Just a fun shot. I think it's the earliest I've ever shown a model. Which is why it's so far away.

It is, of course, a Consolidated B-24J Liberator, in this case of the Block 130 - 150 range (closer to Block 150 than 130, with larger navigator observation windows), CO (San Diego built). There's lots to learn about B-24's!

At this stage, just trying to get the geometry laid out correctly and get the initial flight dynamics done.

Long way to go, Tom, this is just the exterior model. But as someone asked of the B-24 was underway, thought it might be fun just to confirm.
