Hey Guys and Gals

This is one of the projects I have going right now, can anyone tell me what it is?:wavey:

One of the Lockheed Vega, Altair, Express, Sirius, etc 'Family'.
If I was motivated I'd find the ancient copy of the IPMS USA Journal in my files (sometime around 1970 IIRC) that caused a great deal of angst among the 'Warmongers' of the membership, as this issue was devoted entirely to this particular Lockheed series, not a 'Warbird' or a 'Hakenkreutz' in sight.
:applause:

Looking very nice, Chris. BTW: Your Predator is outstanding, my friend, as are all your releases. Thanks for sharing your talent with us..:medals::medals:

How about a Global Hawk UAV in USAF and USCG schemes. I'd be right at your store door with credit card in hand for a Global Hawk UAV.

Hey Trans

I just downloaded some photos and info on the Global Hawk a few days ago and most likely will be the next one that goes out.

Chris, Little Quicksand has a die-cast bank of that aircraft. I should have known I'd seen it someplace before:banghead::d:costumes:.... Lookin good!:medals::applause::ernae:

Looking great Chris! It is one of my favorites of the golden age, and I am definitely looking forward to it. I too have that die-cast bank. :d

I saw a die cast bank of the Air Express on some ebay type site. Looked good and I would like to have it but can't at $140.00:costumes:

Thanks guys.

Chris

Y'know when that comes out I will consider my FS life complete. :applause::applause:
I have been waiting for one of these for years.
I actually got the demo version of X-Plane so I could fly it in six-minute increments.
I'm not at my home computer right now but when I get home I could send some pics if you need them.
Looking good, looking good. :ernae::ernae:
Just wondering what livery you were going to put on? Frank Hawks' Texaco 5 would look good but I think I'd be happy with Roscoe Turner's Gilmore as well.:kilroy:

Thanks Drzook

I have 4 liveries in mind for it and if you have any interior photos that's what I'm having trouble finding.

Chris

Here are a few pics I found. Most were from Vegas at the time but the layout is similar. I did notice on the Air Express ad that it had two individual seats, followed by a bench seat and it was an open pass-thru to the pilot's seat. IIRC the Air Express could seat four passengers and there was quite a bit of space in front of the bucket seats for airmail bags. Hope this helps.
