Was away from flying for a couple of weeks. Came back and it's the weirdest thing. At some airports the vc panel, once in a while the 2d, is very dark. Can't hardly make it out. Also sometimes some of the airport buildings are very dark. Other airports everything is fine. Happens with different aircraft. Happens with fs9 textures, SW and GW textures. Totally uninstalled and reinstalled and still had the problem with stock fs9 and GW textures. Did a defrag. So I believe the problem is with my computer. I'll post my specs and hopefully somebody has an idea.

Not sure yet who the actual culprit is but my FS9 install is generally much darker on W7 running on a flat panel display as well when flying at night.

I have a cathode tube monitor and I'm flying during the day in the middle of the summer.

It's not all dark. Mostly the vc cockpit but not at all airports, sometimes the 2d cockpit and sometimes airport buildings.
