I'm not a B-29 expert. My late father-in-law did work on the Enola Gay when my wife's family lived in Omaha, Nebraska during the war. So naturally I acquired many of the books and photos he had over the years.
All I mentioned in my earlier posts was that the radome just didn't look right to me. I've spent some time researching the issue and learned a lot, but reached no conclusion. I also e-mailed Phil and got a really nice response. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the B-29, in fact I love it, but if Virtavia was going to look at fixing the window issue they might want to look at the radome.
