• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

IMHO I think this is the real concern...Really hope all is well for Neil. If he at least sent a message to bug off that would be a good thing.

Netwings - Maskrider files

Hi All.
What about all the Maskrider Sceneries, that were on Netwings? I think I might have them on discs, but since Maskrider is still alive, maybe he wants to upload it all here?

Hi finn!, Do you have in your hard disk, a Mdl for stock models of netwings?, I need only the B5n2 Kate

I insist in this, because it has a view of cabin that others like Simviation not have

Yeah, but with view in cabin, varius B5n2 not have this view, in this mdl that I say there are not gaugues, is only the interior of stock model kate, it not has virtual cockpit, but has this view that I say.

Mi inglish is limitated, but i need this file, because, the overal B-24 guy kate have a virtual cockpit but hi change the spiner in the model, there is no the original of the stock B5n2 kate.

Netwings

Did I miss the note of no more Netwings? I knew their site was not available. If gone, what about all the downloads there? Anyplace they can be aquired?

I looked through the reams of stuff at the linked site. I thought yikes, where would you start?

If Netwings.org is down forever, maybe they could just provide a login/password and someone could do an FTP connection DL all a once. I bet that could still take a lot of time.

This should be a good example for devs that put their stuff on only one site. Things happen, things that no one can control. Yeah, I know most webmasters want exclusive distribution of your files to pump up the ranking on their sites. That makes sense of course, but it's like not so good when that site shuts down or the site owner looses interest to maintain the site.

The only files I remember being exclusive to netwings were the 1% files.

I recall making a big mistake. I had a campaign that took months to build. Put it on one site, and blam the site went off the web. Stupid me, the files were on a hard drive I quit using. I haven't had time to look through about six HDD drives to find the files. What a hoot! Glad my life doesn't depend on having those files.
