• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Netwings?

Just tried again to go to Netwings and it is still down.Fellows if we lose netwings then we lose all the CFS2 1% aircraft.We should see about uploading them here,if we ever get back on Netwings.

Theres a lot of planes on netwings and more that is still usefull. Hopefully netwings comes back online!
 
If not, I would bet that there are enough of us on here with their files to rebuild a fairly good portion for them until they are up.

I have almost all of the 1% aircraft on disk. I also have most of the AF Midway stuff.

I remember a time or two when SOH was down that the guys at Netwings stepped up for us. We can return the favor.

Its the first Website I ever visit when I realize that CFS2 could be upgraded through its community about Eight or nine years ago. It still has plenty of real nice addon goodies dedicated to CFS2 and other Sims. Its worth saving them if possible or need to with permission. I hope its only a temp interruption of service!

1% Aircraft.

I'm pretty sure that I have all of the AV History 1% aircraft in zipped form. I got blanket permission from the guys at AVH for re-skinning their stuff, so I downloaded the lot. If we can get permission to upload them to SOH, I'll get them moving. I just wish that I'd downloaded all the other great aircraft in their hangar. I'm sure that I've got a lot of them, but there are plenty that I never got around collecting, especially WW1 stuff.

I always have this fear that a site will simply disappear without notice.
The worst of all would be if sim outhouse were to disappear. How can we ensure that that will not happen? forgive me, I don't want to spread false rumors or fear, I just want us to have insurance. sim outhouse is absolutely vital to the CFS2 enterprise. It is the circle of contacts, the wealth of wisdom and advice, the commeraderie, as well as the fabulous downloads.

Dose any one have contact with some one that is high up in the netwings fourm maybe the may know whats up.

Is there any thing like this runing in the IL2 fourm as well?
 
I have 319 aircraft in rar file form so I am sure I have a bunch of the 1% planes.Just checked and have 307 on my external drive,I am sure there are duplicates but with all of us we should have them all.I will be glad to share anything I have.:friday:
 
Today is Friday and Netwings is still down. I think it is time that we see if we can start uploading the 1% aircraft we have here at the SOH.:typing:
 
At one time I had downloaded all the original netwings stuff on to Zipdrive disks. Will have to see if I still have them and also will my old computer fire up the zip.
 
OK a stupid question.As I said I have a bunch of 1% stored on my hard drives,which one's are the AV 1% so I don't dig up the wrong ones,in other words how are they labeled.I have 1JA,1GB,etc. As you can tell I don't do this that much.:help:
