The engine sounds on the CAC Boomerang are unbelievable! Could be some of the best warbird sounding engine sounds I've heard. Man when you wind her up and make a flyby from the tower view... :applause::applause::applause::applause:

Isn't that the truth. I have the Fly-By module, it is whistling death! :ernae::applause:

Thank you AH! Nothing makes my day like free planes or free food...you gave the planes...I'm off to find the food!

Thank you!! Really enjoying the Boomerang. :applause:

A small fix for the Boomerang 2D panel....activates the icon on the panel to bring up the compass using the correct ident number

in the panel.cfg

[Window02]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=200,200
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=0
visible=0
ident=75 //50
window_size= 0.200, 0.260
window_pos= 0.400, 0.750
gauge00=DHCometGauges!compass_popup, 7,6,182,183

Toys! Toys! Toys!

Many many thanks for this gesture.
As mentioned, what a soundtrack!

Model (even the matte one) is a little shiny in my environment settings, so it went into mk_MDLC and came out dull - but still exciting ;)

Rugged too

Thanks for these great gifts Bazzar :applause: :applause:

I installed the Boomerang this morning and it certainly has brilliant sounds :jump::jump:

Spent more 'tower time' than flying just to hear the flybys :icon_lol::icon_lol:

Great A/C! I downloaded a 32bit texture for the Irish Air Corps Spit from FlightSim.com, but it seems to be fudged. It was missing the wing texture. I converted the as downloaded 16bit file to 32 bit, but there are still discrepancies between the 2 sets of textures. Obviously the file with the British fuselage textures is wrongo, lol, but there are several others I'm confused about.

Does anyone have the definitive, correct list of file names as it should apply to this beautiful A/C?

I had a ball yesterday with the Lavochkin! The one plane I didn't already have! The sound going with the Boomerang is top notch indeed.

Thank you so much! :applause:

Although I'm not too often in this part of the FS world, this barrel of fun - as correctly stated in the readme - makes a good reason to pay a visit to this hemisphere!

Nothing to add concerning the sounds (all been said before!), but the affectionately styled readme file makes this one a must-have even more!

One more for the freeware gem list!

Cheers,
Markus.

THANKS BAZ-AH BIRDS ARE OUTSTANDING. Getting them free is superb!

Many Thanks for these, hope they encourage some more sales of the current stock.

The DH2 is a lovely bird - just an observation it seems to be flying rather faster on my setup than the ASI is showing.

The Junkers "Truck"

You guys must check out the Junkers 90 (Hauke Keitel??) available as freeware. Beautiful plane and wonderful VC.

By the way, near the end of the WWII, Himmler asked General Kammler of the SS in Poland for a Junkers "truck" to escape to south America.

Kammler denied this request and used the "truck" himself. To the butcher Kammler was never found by the Allies.

So what is the Junkers Truck that can fly from Germany to S. America? Apparently it is the Junkers 390, big brother of Junkers 90.
