Hi

I just had a look at Rob's web site and noticed the image on his home page. Oh Yeah!
I don't know how long it has been up and whether I am late to the party or not, but if this is his next project, I don't care. It will be fan bloody tastic.
It is by BAC and starts with a big capital "T"

I just see a faded image of a blueprint used as a backdrop, no foreground image. It this what you're referring to?

Mmm....I would prefer a Sea Vixen, but it's Rob's choice.:engel016:
I'm still flying his Sea Hawk daily! Can't thank him enough for that!:applause:

I hope for the TSR. One of my favorite aircraft. Used to have the old alpha sim model years back.

That's smashing news, Rob does some really interesting models. I've seen the example at Cosford: that's a big aircraft!

Brilliant news. There's been a need for a modern rendering of the TSR2 for some time. Good though the old FS9 Alphasim model still is, it has issues with P3D especially. Great to know a new TSR2 is in the works, and from one of my favourite developers too!

As a regular visitor to the TSR2 at Cosford, and having seen the other surviving example at Duxford last year I can't wait to take this new virtual version for a spin. :biggrin-new:

Thanks Rob! :applause:

Ade , ya recon whined down the window, arm on the cockpit ledge, drive it thru town, amazing breaks light on the back to :encouragement:

I'm looking forward to this probably more than any other addon of recent times! Very happy to see a new TSR2 model for the sim.

Please.....don't get too excited, its little more than a thought at the moment.
I've walked past the example at Duxford many times without really looking at it.
The shape is proving deceptively complex and the landing gear may turn out to be beyond my ability to re-create.
It would be a huge amount of work!
Here is what it looks like at the moment.

Spotted it a few days ago, wasn't sure if it was just a generic backdrop or a subtle hint... looking forward to it when the time comes :applause:

No pressure Rob, in your own time. You have the unrivalled advantage of having the real thing to check your work with (reasonably) near at hand. :encouragement:

I remember an email I sent a couple of years back, asking about you possibly doing a TSR2, Rob. Knowing how well your other aircraft have done over the years, I'm sure that this one will be awesome!

Thát looks good! I think it's a good sign you have the master shape already. Looks very good, any chance of sharing a wireframe shot with us? I am trying to do a Tu-22M3, but that shape is very difficult (I'm a self-taught modeller, so my skills aren't perfect). Probably comparable with some areas of your TSR. It's a big difference from the simple Fokker shapes I am used to.

I've done more mechanisms in Blender (T.5's undercarriage), so let me know if you need any help. And in the meanwhile, keep up the good work!

Cheerio, Daan

Hi Daan, I follow your "Blender" posts over at FSD as I still have an awful lot to learn about the program.
Here are a few wireframe shots of wip.
