New Ships released by Stuart!

Stuart277,

Many thanks on this; they are more than worthy replacements for the stock models. Another important hole filled in CFS2!

Thank you......

...for these. I always thought that the Indie needed a upgrade. Quint would be thankful also!:biggrin-new:

As a old squid....

....I can only repeat what a old first class Boatswain I knew and Yosemite Sam would say, “#@#@#@#**:redfire: suffering suckatash !!! “They are called SHIPS, not BOATS!!!!! Boats go on ships, ships do not go on boats!:biggrin-new:

Hi stuart, thanks for the model.
I am going to make a constructive criticism a mere observationI was comparing it to the other models and seeing diagrams on the web, I think the model looks a little fat.

In this image, you can se the VN INDIANAPOLis, VN northampton your model and stock cfs2 allen resize model.

if it could shrink (shortened) Beam it would be perfect.VN northampton look acceptable in width(Beam) but I think the VN indianapolis look very nice Beam

If I could try correcting it, it would be fine, but it's also welcome

I would like to repaint it I include a maxstuka improvement ship package, with the correction made.

Thank you.

Hola Max
I hope you are well and keeping safe.
According to wiki the Portland beam is 20.14m
The beam on my ship is 20.28m.
The difference is not significant enough for me to do it, but you may do it yourself.
Cheers

Stuart,

Love your work.

Maxstuka is the reason the VN ships never published were not published.I think only 2 people have them now.

Stuart277,

Many thanks for your efforts on this. Mel Brooks would be proud! :costumed-smiley-034

Hi The Bookie
Interesting.
I have avoided re-doing the VN ships as they are great renditions and really good as targets at 300kph where super detail is not needed.
My stuff is in between VN and JMK and I only do VN 'upgrades' upon request.
Take Care
Cheers

Stuart277...your library amazed me again

Stuart277,

I am going through gathering ships to upgrade The Balkans project. I had an entire laundry list of ships. About eighty percent of them you had done. Among them included...

Abdiel-class minelayer

Hunt-class minesweeper

Queen Elizabeth-class battleship

Carlisle-class cruiser
Dido-class cruiser
Ceres-class cruiser

Leander-class cruiser (HMS Ajax - Virtual Navy)
Town-class cruiser (HMS Manchester - CG shipyard)

Fiji/Colony-class cruiser (HMS Kenya - CG shipyard)

Scott-class destroyer (Scrap Iron Flotilla)
V and W-class destroyer (Scrap Iron Flotilla)
Tribal-class destroyer
J-class destroyer (Groundcrew)
K-class destroyer (Groundcrew)
P-class destroyer
I-class destroyer
H-class destroyer
G-class destroyer
D-class destroyer

You even did the Greek Kilkis battleship!

I'm going to use the Black Swan-class sloop as a substitute for the Egret-class.

Many thanks, well done!
