Many thanks for these, I will make sure the HMS Auckland is included during the troop evacuations! Thank you also for the other British, Greek, and Italian ships you have done as well!

If you are referring to "sub-hunters", you may use "chasseurs de sous-marins" in French.

"Sous-chasseur"... well... It sounds like an "under-fighter", "barely a fighter", or something less than a fighter.

:wavey:

Merci!

I studied French in school for four years. Then I studied German for two years.
I lived in Germany for three years and only visited France several times.
It has been six years since I have spoken a word of French in France.
Even then, I had little need to talk about war ships..smile.
I was more interested in shopping, eating, buying wine, eating, shopping,......
So, my ability to speak, understand, etc., has left me.

PS
Had I known you were living in Strasbourg, I would have PM'd you.
I visited your beautiful city several times.
Rami visited me while living in Stuttgart and he and I would have come for a visit.

Stuart277,

Many thanks for this ship class...I already have several missions ready that these ships will find a not-so-happy home in, as they were heavily used during the Greek and Crete evacuations! :encouragement:

Lovely work Stuart. Than you.
My wife's uncle was evacuated from Greece to Crete on an LSI with half of his regiment (2/2 Field Regt.). His memories included Stuka attacks and the sound of the ship's Pom Pom guns leaving a ringing in his ears.

Thank you Stuart! I just confirmed that your name appears against the vast majority of the 438 ships (including repaints) that I have in my WW2 RN dock. Just goes to show how they build up over the years . . .

Keep up the good work !!!!

Stuart277,

Unexpected, but very nice CFS2 model. Well done! It will be interesting to see how MaskRider reacts when he sees a ship with his name on it. He can literally sink himself. :biggrin-new: :p87:
