I commented out gauge 48 in the panel.cfg under [Vcockpit01] and don't miss the click sounds at all, really.
One further question: that strange appendage on the nosegear wheel appears to be hanging upside down, if it's a mudguard!
Is that what it is?
The model looks great when the light moves over it, doesn't it?

I'm so glad you are enjoying it! fact is that for the ones that did not want the sound FX there was supposed to be a switch to turn them off, and a knob to tune the volume... but if it gives you such a problem, well, this works as well!
And the object in the nose gear is a spray deflector! during initial tests on wet runways, the water spray from the nose gear went straight to the engine intakes, drowning the combustion. This was added to mitigate the problem, yet some precautions are still needed (watch out this applies to this sim model too!!)
P.S: I'm in contact with Doug Dawson, author of the sound gauge: he may show around here so we can understand what is going on here! :salute:

Many thanks, Mario! The new version of the sound gauge worked perfectly on my system. I had previously commented out the old version from the panel.cfg, in order to avoid crashing FS. Now all is well...and the addtional sounds really add to the already excellent quality of this package.

A generator might overheat in the following scenario:
- both generators are ON, but one of them is inoperative
This can be the case when an engine is not running, or one of the generators has failed, because it was overheated for long enough to toast it (function of this airplane model), or because a FS level failure (by FS itself or any add-on program that causes failures in the name of realism).
The DC electric system has a protection and if one of the generators is switched OFF, some auxiliary non-essential things are turned OFF so the remaining one will not overheat... in short, if a generator is not working for some reason, switch it OFF. This will of course show in the annunciator panel and the Master Caution light will start screaming....

LOL I was so proud of myself....first flight from Munich to Valencia without reading the manual. No problems at all. And now I see there is a braking chute .... Ok now I will read the manual and see what else I missed.Great work though as I said before, she is a keeper for sure.Stefan
