Outstanding workmanship Michel. I love it!!

A tad squirrely in the air for my kind of flying., but this is a real looker.

Great paint work too.

Thank You

I never thought I would enjoy flying a relic like this one... but she's a real beauty as well as a bit of a challenge. Beautiful work :medals:

Many thanks for your comments friends, it's very pleasant to hear.
A spec about the prop, note the leading edge of the "Chauvière" prop is the curved edge, I took this info on woodenpropeller.
I recommand you to visit the Mark Miller site here:

I just downloaded your N17 package and I'm enjoying it very much.

I worked in Denver a few years back as a member of the Aspect Simulations team that was developing the WW1 flight sim game, Knights Over Europe. One of the very first planes I modeled was the N17. I have a deep appreciation for all the detail you put into the model. I really like the fact that you have the wing ailerons properly modeled and have them linked to the devices above the cockpit. Until recently all the other models of the N17 that I had seen in sims had gotten this feature incorrect. Well done.

I highly recommend folks take a look are Mark Miller's work as well. While working at Aspect Simulations I got to know him through an exchange of e-mails. Good guy. He got invited to go to NZ by Peter Jackson to work on King Kong.

Excellent plane. Thanks Oldliner and everybody involved. There is a rotary sound package available from James Banks, that sounds perfect with this machine. :ernae:

Hmmmm... Caz, you gonna do a paint for this beauty ?...:jump:

Hows 'bout a nice Italian job Pointy?

I'll send it up as soon as I get logged-in.

Huub, you were ahead of me; I did just that, used Randy's E.V/D.VIII Sound.

Isn't this plane a thing of beauty? Most welcome surprise I've had in flight sim in a long while.

Caz
