• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Nimitz Beta Shots

Instead of the Prowlers I´ve included some F-18G Growlers from VAQ-135 and VAQ-140 with ALQ-99 pods (I was too lazy to build a Prowler model :) This release is kind of a near future version of Nimitz and Eisenhower.

Just a quick update. You'll have to wait at least one more day :( I found a couple of minor bugs (I noticed the T-45 were missing night textures in the last batch of screenshots that Jim posted).

On the other hand, I´ve added some more details and two more deck configurations since last beta (navychief8, the soundclips you posted gave me an idea for a nice environment touch ;). Sorry for the last minute delay, but don't worry, It will be released before the weekend is out.

Good to hear Javier. Testing is going well.

One Request (if it's not too hard): How about adding a tower view for the carrier? something that would give the perspective of a deck crewman. Say watching aircraft land. And if possible multiple tower views (don't know if that's possible in FSX. I know in FS9 you can move your tower view and change it's height), cat shot tower views would be cool.
