For some reason I don't have an F-4 in the storage hangar.
I'm looking for payware-quality, performance and eye candy rather than authentic systems modelling...

There is (or was) a time limited demo of the Cloud 9 F-4 which maybe worth a try before buying.

Hi,

performance and eye candy rather than authentic systems modelling.

I think Alphasim have one complying with your request.
It's also in addition of the Cloud9 a IRIS and AFS models available.

It all depends on which variant you want, I suppose.
For the long-nosed F-4E/EJ/F, choose the Cloud9.
For all others, it's Alphasim every time.

Thanks for all the advice, Cloud 9 it is.
And can I mention that installation was absolutely smooth, painless, and faultless?

What tipped it in C9's favour was the F4F in this livery:

I have another scenery thread coming up...;)

Well this could degenerate into my willie is longer than yours...:d
But I have no regrets about buying the C9 model.
It has, and does, stuff beyond what you'd expect in an FS9 model.
Beautifully detailed cockpit area, which is where I like it.
