OFF P2 Install

Flickering is because the mission is not loading.

Check these from the FAQ. By the way... I assume you already followed the
"How to Clean up your Act" section in the FAQ carefully?


Make sure you have applied the English regional setting:

Most users who are experiencing this error are seemingly users who are using non English/US character sets i.e. European or Eastern Countries including Japan.

I suspect that this may temporarily solve this problem:

Select English Language : Navigate via Control Panel, Regional and Language Options and under Regional Options select English (United States) or English (United Kingdom) or English (South Africa)."



Q. When I try to fly I get "missions not found" or "mission failed to load" pop up every time.
A. "I had a problem that caused the "missions not found" to pop up every time I tried to fly. It wasn't the language selection and you would have to read my posts to follow along. It may have been a bad corrupted dl of the multi 16 part install. It may have also set my Norton AV to stay off for 15 minutes, restarting during the OFF install Don't know for sure, but OFF and CFS3 both work fine now.

* I removed all copies of the OFF folders ("CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields") from my game drive, my documents, and from c:\
* Then uninstalled CFS3
* Deleted all left over folders in Programs and in the user-name\application data areas.
* Rebooted and did a MS cleanup and a registry clean
* ran defrag
* Created a Windows XP restore point
* Installed CFS3 and the 3.1 patch and 3.1a, created a pilot and flew (to check it works).
* Did another Windows XP restore point
* Turned off my Anti-Virus Program (mine is Norton AV) and set it to stay off for five hours
* Did the OFF install per instructions (See Section A) at the top of the document)
* Created and configured OFF config file

Everything is working beautifully now"

4) Also it's probably best to go Regedit, (backup your registry/data first, before changing of course, if in doubt do not do this without some help). i need help with that one

Also it's probably best to go Regedit, (backup your registry/data first, before changing of course, if in doubt do not do this without some help).

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings

Look for the "OFFManager" there and delete that entry.

how where do i get there in vista i dont want to make mistakes on this one the rest i already don that my rig is clean exept this part

if i cheqeu these pads dont exists anymore because i former deleted them already, alsow on the microsoft users entery i have deleted it all if i seek out my rig to any CFS3, PTO, ETO, Firepower, OFF P2 folders or programs i dont get nothing so i thinking it is clean.
i'm gonna make a run for it to make it work, "again" but this time i'm gonna say for the last time!
i'm not gonna keep putting time in thid install and end up with zerro sollution on OFF P2, i will hope that i can get my hands on then on a copy for OFF P3 but still gonna try this one more time, i have seen the gameplay in the quick combats it dit run ok on that part i just want to play the campain it will be great like i kan see in the quick combats, gimpyguy (and not arguing with you hey buddy ) is saying my rig is to slow but if i played the missions the games plays smoothly and easy, for example on ETO and PTO (not breaking down your works guys its a great game and love to play it and for sjure i love to play ETO the most of all) i needed overtimes to make a fix and rename a particullar file to keep my screen stop schaking like i had latenancy from here to tokio, but with the single players missions on quick combat and the regular missions on dog fight and free flight on OFF P2 i taked up my mission to the max sliders set to 2 and max enemy air crafts and wingmates. besides that alsow the antiaitrcraft set to ace and on regular bases it dint bunsh a bit? on ETO or on PTO i'm getting a lot of latenancy if i fly over anty aircraft and if i engage the enemy's pilots over antiarcrafts that problem was more like solved after changing and switshing i file from name but the main point is it was not completely gone but it was manageble on the go for that part.

anyway: i'm gonna install for the last time OFF P2 keep your fingers krosts thanks anyways all for the advice :ernae:

I deleted all of the CFS3 game add ons, clean up my rig on all the folders
the day before this one.

Not a single file is left over!

I made a defrag

I put my rig in the Englische (USA) regional settings

i restarted my rig

i put out my virus scanner

i put out my server apps from work

no msn or other chat apps are running steam server is out

i played severall missions on quick combat on historical and on the campain map shot down enemy crafts in a typhoon for the firs time
im merly a spit friend so i must say the plain is alsow good to fly.
i take a kopple of hits from enemy crafts jumped out of my plain because i like to survive to fight an nother day, get alsow flak damage and so on the end i landed on the base with a damaged plain that exploded after exeting my craft

Anyways: again

I restarted my rig again

i put out my virus scanner

i put out my server apps from work

no msn or other chat apps are running steam server is out

right klik on cfs3config put it on my desktop

run the cfs3config set up and entered the game again

for one person in particlar that says that i dint hear a darn thing i dont want to step on your tous but you are

The game runs smooth and easy hole the way jihaaaaaa it works it realy works if i set the graphics like all on 2 and the special effects off i dont even have a little bit latenancy or FPS? anyways i'm a winner :welcome: to WWI i would say o jeah it only works on administrator and XP service pack 2 like it is said in the first place

(Don't ask why, but that's how it is).
You could ask CAMELJOCKEY for the best settings in "override" in the CFS3 config - you must tell him, what graphic card you use.

And then: have fun!

No i dint give up on it
just a little bit irritated but that irritation gave it at the end a good winners feeling
that i have sucseed to install OFF P2, i have to thank that on the advice from you boys ;-)
i'm so happy now i have the install and i want it to chare it with others about vista
i'm now working on a raport on the install that i have made on OFF P2 so everyone that comes behind me with any
quistions about it, all the answers will be on one post and not spread out and maybe SOH forum board administration
want to make it a sticky, not that the information that i have got from all of you isnt good but i got it in peases from
SOH members SOH forum polovski's site maybe it will be good to post it for others in one Thread so it will be easy for them
to install the great game OFF P2. It is so congrats to the creators of this add on

Serving on RAF-92 as an fighter pilot they gave me i plain a viper i think can i pick a plain? i need to look in to it i just have flown 3 missions today but the landing dont go so well and thill now i dint encounter any enemy aircrafts so no kills yet but the viper is not easy to handel so i need training over and over if i go to single players i think im gonna like the camel

i have made an raport on my install some one has interests to get the fouls out the typing so my englische is not perfect and i want it to be understanding for others if some will get this over email and retyp the fouls in the right context and so on and send it me back i can post it for a sticky or something if the SOH forum administration is ok with that
