OK....now...Show your Wheels..

I'll swap London with Springfield, Ohio any day of the week.

You get Top Gear over there? BBC America?

Yep sure do... and its one of the very few channels I watch regularly... favorite programs are Doctor Who, however they show that rarely now on BBC Am.; Top Gear... there are a few others... but Top Gear is by far my favorite show on tv, hands down...it is just so damn funny... favorite episodes thus far that I have seen... the one where they drive across the American South.... & the Vietnam episode on the bikes... theres others that are equally as good, but those two stand out in my mind lately...

I am going to get to London before I die.... My dad got to go over last summer on Liberty Belle and my mom & brother met him there... they stayed with a family outside Parham... There is a pub in London somewhere that my grandfather would have a drink at in WWII when he was off base, still there... he went back in '99 to have a drink there... someday I will too.... and toast to Grandpa.....

Good for you witt, I hope you get to come here one day. Try and go for the Autumn though - Summer in London these days is seriously humid and nasty!
See if you can find out which pub it was and I'll try it out before you get there :icon29:

Top Gear is a hit here too although some people hate it (and Clarkson in particular). The problem is the show has become too succesful and the presenters are always off doing other projects and earning huge sums of money elsewhere. So much so that a new series of Top Gear is only about 4 episodes long.

My ride?

Here's the one I spend the most time driving. At about $9000 a piece you'd think it was a real car. I replace it every 3 years whether it needs to be or not.

The optional car alarm/anti-theft device sitting in the front seat is priceless. Get too close and you'll lose a finger or your hearing. Maybe both. :)

BTW My other car is a very dependable old Camry that I'm trying trying to hit the 300,000 mile mark with.

I love these threads. They keep popping up. I doubt there's anyone faster than me here, but anything's possible. I regularly beat turbocharged Hyabusaa with the cobra.

i dunno on a track, on a dry hot day, and a set of slicks, and my bike race tuned (what i'm planning to do) i reckon your cobra would need new fangs :icon_lol: its easy to beat a vehicle with turbo, due to turbo-lag, just get in front and stay there, easier on single carriageway roads here in the UK, trust me here i've had guys do it in little Peugeot 306's when on my uncles bike, i just follow them to a dual carriageway so they think "whys he following us?" then lean forwards onto the tank force the front end down and power off past them good fun :icon_lol:

I broke my camera, but I drive a 1974 Volkswagon Bug (USCG Colors AUX) and my Seadoo Speed Boat on nice days. Winter time Mountain Bike Snow or no snow.

I guess not, except for that one.

That said, I'm in the market to replace my '96 Saturn SL just as soon as possible, and I'm seriously eyeing the 2010 Chevy Camaro as its replacement (and then some).

I mean, there's not THAT much difference between a little 10 hp (or so it seems sometimes) four-cylinder FWD piece of junk and a 300 hp RWD V6, right? :icon_lol:

However, for the selfless goal of adding more sports cars to this thread, if everyone who has contibuted here would like to send me checks for $500 apiece, I'd be willing to suffer my way through buying the 426 hp V8... it's for [LINESTRIKE]my own[/LINESTRIKE] the common good, after all... lol.

ford fiesta .. its ta later model than this one but it's basically the same except for the head lights and the wheels!!
