Hi all

Ive been using FRAPS for years to record games with varying results, mainly on the negative side with fs9 on my pc

Recently I purchesed a dvd recorder and s-video cable after hearing a few stories about been able to record my pc that way but have really struggled to find decent tutorials on the subject...does anyone in here have any clues or can light my way to good tutorials :running:

I always wondered if there was a way to pull the instant replay recordings right out of FS :mixedsmi:

Flightsim's built in recorder is not really video capture. All it does is store data about the flight (lat lon, altitude, gauges, etc). You would need FS to run it again as it has no world information other than position by GPS.

I think FS recorder works the same way it just records more information AI, effects, radios, etc.

I know at one time FengZ posted a video capture device that worked inline with the monitor he may know where to look for info.

I tried to find the post he made about it with no luck.
