Any one got a good fix. On a 1.5 hour flight I get CTD for out of mem about 1/2 way through the flight? I just update my XP to SP3 and have added Active Sky Advanced to FSX. Tried couple of different tubliners - the same thing happens? :help:

David :faint:

David, have you installed the beta update for ASA that's available in their forum at AVSIM? I was getting oom ctd's too and several others were as well and they've gone away for me since I added the beta update.

cheers,
steve :wavey:

Okay every thing worked just fine this time. The beta update fixed it. Thanks so very much steve! :wiggle:

Leon how do I change the Page File aka Virtual Memory?

Thanks again. It's nice when things work right. So many times folks here at SOH have help me out of problems. Nice place to hang out. :amen:

David ,
For windows xp you right click on my computer, then click properties, then click the advanced tab, then click settings under the performance box, and then click the advanced tab...down at the bottom there is a box that says says virtual memory...here you can check and see just how much is allocated and you can change the amount if
as needed . MS suggests the virtual memory should be at least one and one half times larger than the total installed ram .
I might add , if you're not getting that Out of Memory error any longer then I would leave well enough alone .
Leon ,

Thanks Leon. Ya, I did that before I installed the beta update and it did not help the CTD. But I think smooth some things out. Thanks.
