Too bad this won't be released to the public

There was a time when P3D came out every one here was all elated with its release and was the greatest thing since sliced bread.P3D was never meant for us.
Mark my words: soon all of us will be without sims except for the legacy ones..
We'll have to go back to the cartoonish ones or DCS.
As I understand it, one of the few things that will not directly transfer is Ultimate Traffic 2, which I use and have made a bunch of custom airline and charter flight plans to fill airports in southeast Florida and the Bahamas. Evidently the issue is that UT2 uses FS9 aircraft models and P3D does not like FS9 models at all. That would mean replacing those models with FSX native versions and that does sound like a fair amount of work.I can tell you from experience that moving to P3D v4.5 from FSX:SE just over 12 months ago is one of the best things I have ever done. If you see it on sale grab it while you can before it goes the way of the dinosaur! Most native FSX aircraft will move over and all your add-on scenery can be used directly from the FSX library location with no need to reinstall. The performance of 64 bit P3D v4.5 is stunning compared to FSX, better looking, no OOMs any more and FPS that is usually in the high 60s regardless of what or where I fly (it will sometimes drop to low 30s in extreme cases but it is always smooth even then).
