Pacific Rim 50's Jet Race Rules

Example is the Pulqui I've been flying. Aircraft.cfg has Mach 1.02, but the best I've been able to get out of it has been a bit over .9

Hey all,

Just wondereing if a HP Victor would be elegible for this race, while it was in service in time (even the B.2 version was at least being evaluated before 1960) I'm not sure about the supersonic bit. While it was technically a sub-sonic aircraft there are rumours and stories that one did inadvertantly go supersonic briefly while being tested.

While I'm considering a late entry I hope it wouldn't be too serious, jest getting back into fs after some computer troubles which unfortunately kept me out of RTWR.

Cheers,
M

from what I gather,
it's as serious as you want to make it.
I believe the mission priority is to have some fun.
so wring her out and come on in.

just an update on the FS crash @ PAED SNAFU;

as posted above, I decided to move on.
well, no such luck.
I've just spent the last hour
attempting to set-up and pre-flight out of PAED.
whenever I adjust the Time and Date,
be it from the menu bar, options, settings
or any of the other ways of adjusting date/season...CRASH!!!
I even tried Duenna sync time +date...CRASH!!!
apparently, there is no such thing as Spring in Anchorage.
so be it, 21, June, 09 it shall be.
go figure

this is too weird. :isadizzy:

hmmm, now I can't help but wonder
what would happen if I go
to my approach test saved flight
and change the season to summer.
maybe later, for sure.

many thanks to MM for recommending the FS9.1 patch.
I downloaded and installed it and now,
FS9 crashing in Alaska in the Spring is solved.
many thanks indeed, Mike.
