Paint Request HU-16

I'm in the field with 70 students next week, but after that, who knows...

Btw, I asked Michael for the bulbous nose ( there's an update coming), but alas, he thinks it's too ugly.
Oh man....really? I hope you have better luck at convincing him than I did. I asked him too early on [late 2024] and got a lukewarm response...although he seems WONDERFUL regarding support for the airplane. I REALLY want at least the bulbous nose...the ASW boom would be nice too, but that's probably asking too much. Just flew your RoNAF paint from Andoya to Bodo....and it was a joy-- thanks JK!!!!

No wonder we called it "Goofy" in Hellenic air Force service. I'd also like to see it though. I taxi past this one very often at Tatoi AB in my club's Cessnas, it's part of the HAF museum.

With all the various configurations that Mike has given us, I suppose it would be nice to complete the HU-16 and G-111 collection with the 'Goofy'. You won't find me flying it, though :ROFLMAO: . Personally, I'd like to see more GPS options - maybe the steam gauge panel, with the GNS 530/430 and the civilian interior. That aside, any further development of this wonderful model is an exciting prospect. Seriously - if I were only allowed to keep one aircraft in MSFS2024, default or add-on, it would be the HU-16 / G111.

Now THAT'S hilarious, since I took off in the RoNAF HU-16 yesterday (closest to Greek colors) from Elfesis AB in the sim...and made a slight left turn and shot touch n goes at Tatoi...! BTW-- I love Greece...the culture...the food...all of it.

Wow! I did my military service at Elefsis AB back in 1996-97. They were still in service then on their final year, replaced by P-3Cs. I believe they were purchased from the RoNAF in 1969. In my post at the base ops I remember their callsign "Poseidon".

Believe it or not, I found out where they were based and their callsign yesterday from ChatGPT...! So that's why I took off out of Elefsis.
