• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Is anybody here familiar with Paypal? Could somebody answer the following?

What does transaction pending mean. I tried to purchase an aircraft yesterday via paypal and it did not work. I checked my account of my card and it says pending transaction?
 
It could be that your Paypal account isn't linked to your credit card. I had this when I first started several years ago. Can't remember the detail, but your account needs to have a bank account and be backed up by your credit card I think.
 
In addition to the above some vendors have a manual system for Paypal and need a 'live body' to process the payment.

Having said that the only time I have seen the 'pending' statement is when I order from TigerDirect.ca and then it goes into 'pending' until they have the order packaged and it is shipped out then the transaction goes through.
 
Will paypal fees pending transaction still proceed if an account is closed??
