More work completed...specifically landing gear detail, tailhook rear wheel area.
There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Wishing you luck with this one, The Corsairs, especially the early ones are very interesting projects, repleat with all the early-bird foibles on the ground and in the air (and at the land air interface).

HTH this is of some usenumerous technical problems had to be solved before the Corsair would enter service. Carrier suitability was a major development issue, prompting changes to the main landing gear, tail wheel and tailhook. Early prototypes had difficulty recovering from developed spins since the inverted gull wing's shape interfered with elevator authority. A small spoiler was added to the leading edge of the starboard wing to reduce adverse stall characteristics
Nearly cracked that problem, together with Ronnie ...This model will feature the accurate dive gear (gear will come down as speed brakes in a dive) .....
