Is this the same Percival Prentice that was released as a beta and never finished? I think I recognize it. It has been a while since I flew FS9. I think it is.
Welcome back. Yes indeed. The Percival was always one of my favorites
The image I posted is indeed from the unfinished beta, which still is on my hard-disk. The quality of the VC is amazing considering the age of the model.
Hi AKA Jed,
I believe you are the person that received help on this forum to learn how to do backlit gauges in FSDS 3.5
Will you be so kind as to teach me how to do this, in plain english.
I have used FSPS to put gauges in the VC, but just like you I am having trouble with the lightmap/alpha and cannot get the gauges to light up at night.
As Jed's site has disappeared into the ether.... you can find the model here , on this Argentine site ---> http://www.flightsimulatorarg.com.ar/aviones9_2004.htm, painted in ArgentineAir Force colours;
however that can be righted, by visiting http://www.britsim.com files section, enter Prentice in search box,
and you'll get some nice paints by Peter Watkins

Ps Have a poke around in the Argentine site, there's a lot of the late Damien (Windrunner) Radice' s work there I'd not seen before.
I think that Argentine model is older version i have newer beta, if somebody can offer easy to upload site and advise is it legal to upload this file, it i guess i can share it, as this is realy nice model. I remember reading that it had some minor flight model problems but i enjoy flying it
Go to the britsim site and download the Argentinean version, it is the full package and totally Kosher.
Check out the skins as well, some well done civilians and 'other' military paints.
