Pilatus Porter.

Well as long as we are swapping liveries, could someone send me the 'Austrian parrot' livery :ques:

'Fredi' is installed and working fine:

This French one is very nice too:

Thanks to Paul I have been trying the most bodacious hillside strips I could find a-la Air America. Alas there are but a handful so I go for any suitable treeless patch. Are there any decent sceneries that provide hillside strips? I've thought about a payware Courcheval but wonder about it's quality.

Also, if anyone else thought this bird was a bit heavy in the air or odd on water I have also updated the CFG for more realistic air, ground, and water performance. I am waiting for permission to post.

Mmm Courcheval...worthy investment.
(Digs through clips carefully saved for just such occasions)
I had to see if Milton's Masterpiece worked there - it did.

As to the Porter, set a little headwind, and you don't need to bother with the ramped bit.
Just drive up to the flat area at the top and plop down there :d

That's the kind of good scenery I'm after. Is it payware I presume?

And as for my request to FSD, well I can't quite print it here, my eyes are still smarting. Suffice to say I can't share my update.

Payware yes, LLH5 if I recall from LLH Créations 2008.

My sympathies regarding FSD, I have also experienced some interaction with them, which requires you to prove to them first, that you are not a pirate, thief, and scumbag.

FSD= worst customer support ever (that I have run into). There was an exception but every rule has one.

Yeah, rude and pompous were the most civil words that came to mind. Nice model though.

Now help me out here how much is 16.95 € in US $? Is that francs? Euros? This is from the LLH Creations site.

Just do a google search (literally) for 16.95 euros to US Dollars, and it'll actually convert it for ya. ;-) Speaking of this scenery, I'm HYPER tempted to get that Courchevel. I may seriously do it in the next hour or two, and takes me my new Porter up there! I want a ton of good freeware scenery for the Alps, and I knew that Lionheart had some of this scenery of which I speak... :d Where can we get that?

By the way, 16.95 Euros is around $21.60 according to Google currency calculator. :ernae:

Don't miss the freeware stuff for the French Alps Altiports. It is very good!

You know Dogknot I think had that freeware scenery but it had weird bumpy runways and floating buildings, the Twilight Zone effects. I never checked to see if I installed it right or had mesh problems.

It's a bit of a tricky one for sure, but a nice alternative if your wallet is a bit thin.

There are the afcad files to install, then there is a bgl replacement within Scenery\EURW\Scenery. The AltiEnhancements should be installed to the scenery library first followed by AltiRelief. So if AltiEnhancements were number 100 then Altirelief should be #99.

The real kicker after those procedures is to be sure and use "TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19" with this scenery pkg. If you are using 20 or 21 then the hills will be all over and houses floating around.
