• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

i can´t connect, the game says that i have different version .. protocol mismatch.. what is the server version and how can i see my, and how can i change my version to fly with you all ? thanks... (i am on win vista)

You are on Vista. Please read Post #1 in this thread: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=9007, and follow Deadmeat1971's instructions EXACTLY.

You also have to start with a clean, totally unmodded, fully-updated (3.1 and 3.1a) cfs3 install in oder to join online games.

You get those two updates here: http://www.microsoft.com/games/combatfs3/

I see you just tried to join Deer Hunters game but got booted. Make sure you have all of the updates installed 3.1 and 3.1a

Post what type of error message you are getting

Thanks tail wind , now i can connect, but the game says that i can´t go because i do not have the same set of aircraft.... i have the standard aircraft. my game is now "for vista" and 3.1 version. do i have to download some aircrafts? if yes, wheare? THANKS A LOT.

Hi so you have 3.1 plus 3.1a updates installed and you have also followed the Vista patch as well?

You do not have to download any other planes. What is the source of your CFS3 install. Is it the original disks from Microsoft?
