POSTED! New B-25C/D, Skins & Kit

Any...

Yep, in desperation I tried that on the last try. The above was the result! Nevertheless, I'll try again tomorrow. Now I know how Sisyphus felt!

..progress to report, or are you just waiting on my upgrade to the MDL mapping?

Progress..

To Report......

Try this on for size, TR. In helping out Michael, I came up with this.

Post it now!

What a nice treatment on the rudder/vstab. A great example of the work-around. Not to mention the very attractive skin.

New guy here... Interesting thread. Not to rain on the parade, but the overall markings for Hari-Karrier could use a bit more work... It never ceases to amaze me that with all the pictures we have of the aircraft that folks still depict the Doolittle Raider aircraft with the wavy camo demarcation lines. Below is a link to some shots of one of the aircraft - and you can find more of Hari on Todd Joyce's website (Son of one of the Raiders) at the next link.

Oh, don't worry about it. Good 3d modelers always fascinate me. I enjoy dabbling with it, for projects like the paper model B-25 on my site (that another guy designed), but am not really that good. The new version is VERY nicely done. Sorry that I was so negative with the first post. It's just surprising to me how many times the Raider's aircraft are depicted that way with all of the photographs available.

Rivet-Counter Embarassment

Believe me I jibe you rivet-counters without mercy, but all in good fun...

I've been waiting patiently for some rivet-counter to point this out, and though a lot of stuff has been singled-out for change or improvement, no one has mentioned this most glaring of faults:

The Doolittle Raiders were B-25B models that had no astradome for the Nav/Crew Chief/Flight Engineer atop the fuselage. There was only a square window.

You guys are falling down on the job! :bump::173go1:
